The Elvis Presley Charity Golf Classic is run by The Irish Elvis
Presley Fan Club.
When did it start ?
A: The Golf
Classic was first run in 2003 and is an annual affair.
Q:
What charities have benefited to date ?
A: St. John
of God, Menni Services and Irish Autism Action.
Q:
How much has been raised ?
A: To date
230,000 euro has been raised.
Q: Is the event endorsed by
the Elvis Presley Estate ?
A:
Yes a special licence is granted to the Irish Elvis Presley Fan
Club to run the event every year.
Q:
Who can play in the Golf Classic ?
A:
It is open to all golfers with a registered handicap. Each team
consists of four players.
Q:
How is the event structured ?
A:
In the morning and afternoon all teams participate in the golf
classic which will be played over two courses, the championship
and executive courses, the course that is allocated to each team
will be on a first come basis, in the evening time at approx
7pm. all teams with their spouses or partners will enjoy a
four course meal in the main convention centre in Citywest
Hotel, the prizes will then be awarded to the winners of the
golf competition, at approx 8.30 the evenings entertainment
takes place. The evenings concert will finish at approx 1am.

Can accommodation be organised if I travel from the country ?
A:
Yes we can organise accommodation at a very special rate.
Q:
How much is the entry fee ?
A:
1,500 euro per four man team.
Q:
What if I cant raise another three players to make up a team can
I still take part ?
A:
Yes you can, we will take individual entries and match you up
with other players to make up a team, of course we can only do
this if there are other available players to match you up with,
of course if we cannot accommodate you your entry fee will be
refunded in full.
Q: If I enter how much is
the fee ?
A:
A quarter of the team fee 375 euro.
Q: Can I ask for a specific tee off time ?
A: Yes again this will be on a first
come basis.
